Canada - Weddings
Mandeep and Manpreet's wedding in Canada was a beautiful and intimate ceremony, attended by only 50 of their closest loved ones. The couple chose to have a traditional Indian ceremony in the feras room of a gurudwara, and the atmosphere was filled with love and spirituality.
The bride and groom looked stunning in their traditional Indian wedding attire. Mandeep wore a red lehenga with intricate gold embroidery, while Manpreet wore a white sherwani with a red turban.
The ceremony began with the bride and groom exchanging garlands. This is a traditional Indian wedding ritual that symbolizes love and commitment. The couple then walked around the Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh holy book, four times. This ritual is called the lavan and represents the couple's commitment to each other and to their faith.
After the lavan, the couple's parents and other family members blessed them. The ceremony concluded with a delicious meal of Indian cuisine.
